ICDE announces a call for papers for its online journal Open Praxis. The theme of the relaunch issue, to be published in January 2013, is Openness in higher education, and the deadline for submissions is extended to 15 September. Research articles, shorter innovative practice articles and reviews are invited.
Theme: Openness in higher education
This issue of Open Praxis focuses on the concept of openness and its growth and use in higher education. The journal will accept contributions that address the following aspects:
- What is the meaning of “open” in education? Which aspects of education does openness refer to?
- How does openness lead to major changes in higher education?
- Which are the main challenges regarding openness in higher education?
- Which successful and relevant experiences of use can we identify?
Reviews of books, reports, software or internet resources of approx. 1000 words are also invited.
