A blog about the costs (and a little bit about the benefits) of moving online. I don’t disagree with most of the points made in this blog, including the comments, but it’s a pity there was no reference to the literature on this. In particular, there was no recognition of the difference between fixed versus variable costs, or trade-off of development time versus delivery time.
