the report describes the current cultural, structural and institutional barriers to the use of web 2.0 applications in education, as well as providing examples of the existing benefits for teachers and learners. The report outlines the success factors identified by the regional stakeholders that encourage web 2.0 uptake and it describes how training institutions are already using web 2.0 applications in their training and administrative systems.
