Young, J. (2009) Six lessons one campus learned about e-books Chronicle of Higher Education College 2.0 June 12

An article that looks at lessons learned from North West Missouri State University’s experience in offering textbooks electronically. It seems that the technology is almost there, but not quite well enough designed for studying textbooks electronically to be really learner-friendly.

And should we not be re-designing electronic textbooks so that they enable learner interaction and participation, rather than just moving a print format to a digital one? Just asking.
