I will be taking three weeks holiday from my blogging and news gathering about e-learning. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. I will continue the blogs on ‘Is e-learning failing in higher education?’ with a blog on whether e-learning is serving the needs of millennial students, when I return.
I will be back online on approximately August 10.
I say approximately, because I am flying my small plane – a Cessna 172 – with my co-pilot Ernie Naesgaard, across Canada from the Pacific to the Atlantic, as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first trans-Canada flight. Then I have to come back. The plan is to be back by August 5th, but in Canada we have weather, and since I can only fly as long as I can see the ground, my return is entirely dependent on the weather.
If you want to follow my progress, I do of course have another blog about this: go to http://flight.tonybates.ca/
I hope you too have a fine and adventurous summer and I look forward to continuing our networking on my return.
