Tounsi, M. (2009) Business Model for Successful eLearning Centres e-Learning Africa Newsportal, April 7
An interview describing the development of Gatlin International’s programs in Africa, and in particular, their development of self-sustainable, for-profit learning centres for delivery of online programs: “Our model is unique in that it allows the centre to be self-subsidised through its own promotion and within a very short amount of time, allowing it to be run like a real profit centre.’ The programs involve co-operation between Gatlin International, the World Bank’s Global Development Learning Network, and the University of East London, UK.
