Lee, H. (2009) Kindle yet to woo university users The Daily Princetonian, Sept 28

A report by the university newspaper of Princeton University’s very early experience of using the Kindle for classes. The University revealed that students in three courses  were given a new Kindle DX containing their course readings for the semester. The University had announced last May it was partnering with Amazon.com to provide students and faculty members with the e-readers as part of a sustainability initiative to conserve paper.

Although reaction to date is not enthusiastic, it should be noted that the students and professors have had only two weeks experience with using the Kindle. As probably with all technology, behaviour will have to be adapted to exploit fully the benefits, as most complaints come from users trying to use it as a traditional book.
