A report released last month from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching asserted that all working nurses should be required to hold a bachelor’s degree in the field. As a result, a large spike in online degree programs for nurses is expected, since most will already have the clinical practice in their R.N. program that will be laddered into a bachelor’s degree.
