English Bay and the North Shore Mountains, Vancouver, January 1, 2013
First of all, for those of you who took a break from work for Christmas, Hanukah or other holidays at this time of the year, I hope you had a great time with family and friends. I also hope 2013 will be a great year for all who read this blog. I believe it will be a terrific year for online learning, a year when it moves from the edge to the centre of post-secondary education. More on this in my outlook for 2013 which will be posted next week.
Second, an apology. The web site was moved to a faster server over the holiday period, but (and this will be hard to believe) it did not go quite as smoothly as I hoped, so it was not possible to post comments and I couldn’t post new material until today. I apologise for this disruption and hope it has not caused too much inconvenience for anyone. In the meantime, many thanks to the technical staff who worked over the holiday period to get the site up and running.
