The Online Educa Berlin 2009 conference, as usual, has a number of interesting sessions planned for its up-coming conference, December 2-4th, 2009. Among them is:

The Future of Learning
Are we meeting the needs of our students? This crucial question will be one of the hot topics at this year’s OEB, and the three keynote speakers at the Opening Plenary – all of them progressive and revolutionary – are sure to ignite discussion. Zenna Atkins, Chairman of the British schools’ inspection authority Ofsted and Chairman of the Royal Navy’s Audit Committee, will address the challenge this question poses for everyone in the field. Adding his insights to the controversy will be Oscar Winner Lord David Puttnam, former film producer and now Chancellor of The Open University and Chairman of Futurelab. Brian Durrant, Chief Executive, London Grid for Learning, will contribute valuable observations from his many years of experience in the sector as further fuel.
