CALL FOR PAPERS: Journal of International Education in Business special issue on Distance Learning

 OVERVIEW:

With over one-third of all business schools offering fully online business programs, considerable attention is now being given by business educators to fine-tuning pedagogical approaches in distance learning in the various sub-disciplines of business.  Distance learning has become a primary channel for business schools to gain international reach for their programs.  The objective of this Special Issue of the Journal of International Education in Business is to consolidate state-of-the-art knowledge on distance learning methods, best practices, and research findings as they relate to business education.  Research on pedagogical approaches used by distance educators will be the focus of the special issue.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 31, 2012

Papers should be submitted by January 31, 2012 to Hooman Estelami (estelami@fordham.edu).  Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format and no longer than 35 double-spaced pages Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process and can also be considered for related conference held at Fordham University on June 8-9, 2012 titled “Frontiers of Distance Learning in Business Education” (more information at:  http://www.bnet.fordham.edu/estelami/distancelearningconference.html)
